Honored to Receive the Endorsement of the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #25

ree

I am grateful to share that I have received the official endorsement of the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) Lodge #25 in my campaign for Lakewood School Board in the November 2025 election.

FOP Lodge #25 represents approximately 500 members from local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies across western Cuyahoga and eastern Lorain counties. As the premier association of law enforcement professionals in our region and across Ohio, their support speaks volumes about the trust and confidence they place in my vision for our schools and community.

As a candidate, I am deeply committed to building strong partnerships between our schools, families, and community organizations — including those who work every day to keep us safe. I believe collaboration, communication, and mutual respect are essential to ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.

School boards play a key role in decisions about student safety, mental health, and crisis response. Having strong relationships with community safety professionals helps ensure our schools are equipped to support every student in a safe, inclusive environment. This also reinforces my commitment to increasing access to mental health services.

I’m incredibly thankful to FOP Lodge #25 for their support, and to all of you who continue to believe in a better, stronger Lakewood for every student and family.

Let’s keep moving forward, together. Endorsements like this are meaningful, but the most important support comes from voters like you.

See you at the ballot box on November 4th.

Monica Bruaw

Candidate for Lakewood School Board
